# How do donations work?

Donations made through Round Up, Give Back go directly to United Charitable a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity (Federal Tax ID #: 20-4286082). United Charitable has partnered with Harness to make giving safe, easy and effective for U.S. donors by raising charitable donations from members of the public to fund monetary grants to other charitable organizations. United Charitable will disburse the appropriate contributions to the organization you've chosen, once per month.

In accordance with the terms of our sweepstakes, so long as the beneficiary/beneficiaries specified for each sweepstakes remain eligible to receive grants when the sweepstakes ends, United Charitable will provide the net proceeds from the sweepstakes to the designated organization as a charitable grant.
